About The Run

Welcome to the inaugural Faith in Motion First Annual 5K Run! Join us on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM at Oakbrook Park District for a fun-filled, family-friendly event with a purpose.

What to Expect

Run/Walk/Crawl, all paces are welcome! 5K is open to everyone, no minimum speed required.

Inspirational themes along the route to uplift your spirit and motivate your journey.

Two race categories:

Youth: ages 14–17
Adult: ages 18+

*Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in each division (3 youth, 6 adults).

Timing & Tracking

All participants will be electronically timed with bibs and a finish clock; no chip is required, but your results are official!

Top 3 male & female finishers (youth and adult divisions)
Top youth runners (top 3)
Top fundraiser across all participants

Schedule

8:00 AM – Registration opens

10:30 AM – 5K Run/Walk begins

12:30–3:00 PM – Post‑run lunch with entertainment, awards, and community connection

Registration & Fees

Runners: Free entry with a minimum fundraising pledge

Adults (18+): $50 fundraising minimum
Juniors (14–17): $50 fundraising minimum + parent/guardian consent

*Includes participant shirt and post-race lunch.
